Scott Peterson practices with the law firm of Foley and Foley, P.C., with offices in Hingham, Falmouth, and Foxborough. Scott specializes in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on construction accident and construction defects cases, and employment litigation.Scott serves as the public member on the Board of Registration in Optometry.
Scott’s publications include “Indemnification” and “Additional Assured” Clauses in Construction Contracts - Passing the Buck, 89 Mass. L. Rev 15 (Summer, 2004). Scott also serves on the Board of Directors of the Hingham Community Center and co-chairs the annual Law Day events at the Hingham District Court. Scott was recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine in 2006. Scott lives in Hingham with his wife, Alison and son, Graham.
