Arthur J Hassett, III is a 1982 graduate of Boston College Law School.  He began his legal career with Creedon and Creedon in Brockton, and established his own practice five years later. He is a sole practitioner concentrating in civil and criminal litigation, probate law, domestic relations, and real estate.

He also serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General, prosecuting criminal lead paint cases on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. In addition to his career-long affiliation with the PCBA, he has been a long-time member of the Board of Directors and a two-term past-president of Pilgrim Advocates, Inc.
